It's been a while

So just to prove a point...I'm not over blogging!

So I'm in my car about an hour and a half early to work, I just finished eating, and I'm bored and sleepy. I am actually listening to my music and came to the conclusion that no other music genre other than country has had books and movies based on actual songs, like live like you were dying became a book and Christmas shoes became books and movies...

So lately I haven't been eating a lot and I blame my hormones and my mood swings as well as my ever painful braces. I have had about one portion of carbs per day for the past 3 days...

I also got in trouble a few days ago for coming home at 3am but that is a different story. Well I may as well go and get my costume and head to work insanely early!

Can't sleep...

It is six am and I'm having trouble sleeping...but they are selling a water scooter on soot and that amuses me cuz I to lazy to swim at times...

Meanwhile I am still losing the auction...the price already went up to $300 and I am getting closer to my budget limit...I don't know if I should wait for the used version of this camera...I was also looking at HD burners which would cost an additional $120...not to mention a blu-ray player would then be necessary. Meanwhile the country is still in recession and I'm thinking I shouldn't be buying frivolities like this and yet I can't help but want to stimulate the economy :-)

I just found out about High School Musical 4 and while my initial reaction was to reject the idea, the storyline of a wildcat falling in love with a west high night really did amuse me. Not mention they are using the same writers...

Well, I am going to continue dreaming about my camera...or at least attempt to!

In the Venetian

Though my family has yet to really take a lot of pictures in our hotel, we are doing it little by little. Tomorrow is supposed to be our picture taking day! Sadness that our vacation is coming to an end...

Confession of a shopaholic...

I only spent about $25 but my mom bought me a lot of stuff! And I am currently losing the bid but I'm gonna work on it tomorrow, since that is when the auction ends.

I bought:

2 beanies (Darkwing Duck and Transformers)
a power rangers top
a pink hoodie
a music bandana
a blue and black scarf
a yoda poster
a fantasia poster
a Disney baseball
an Axiom Crew shirt
a camp rock 1GB flash drive
a Jasmine mug

I probably bought more but that is all I can remember at the time...well I am going to rest!

I am bidding on a camcorder!

So I had a dream about buying a camcorder and had an incredible urge to buy when when I woke up. I had not yet found a camcorder that I have had the urge to buy until this morning.

I am bidding Panasonic HDC-HS9 AVCHD 3CCD 60GB HDD HD camcorder.

I have always wanted an HDD camcorder, specifically the JVC Everio, but that is $400 for a 30GB HD...and the quality samples for the Panasonic online were decent. So I went on the impulse an bid!

My family still has yet to leave the hotel...and I am starving! But today is supposed to be a fun day of shopping!

Well I am off since I am on the phone with my wonderful boyfriend!

Me in the Venetian

So as my dad and I were walking around the stores, I finally got to see the water and gondolas everyone was talking about!

There is a max!

So I didn't realize but there is a max on how much I can type and I reached it on my last blog! I didn't have much else to say besides that though...

My dad and I went around to the shops here in the Venetian and I bought my "shot glass" which was really a wine glass that was on sale for $4 vs the $5.99 shot glass...I figure every little bit of savings helps!

So I think that was everything for today!

Another end of an eventful day...

I seem to be running out of clever little titles for my blog and it is only my second/third day with it! Oh well...watcha gonna do?

So today we went to stores...my mom went to DSW and I went to Best Buy and was thoroughly disappointed because of the lack of stuff they had! If I didn't know amy better, I would say they were the ones liquidating (without the great prices) and not Circuit City. So that was a bust but it did make me want a new camcorder even more and I decided I don't like the Canon Rebel XS or XSi. So I'm gonna shoot for the XTi.

We then met up with my parents friends who live here: Tito Bing and Tita Cecile. They treated us out to the buffet in Orleans where I managed to sign up for my very first casino club! They gave me five dollars which I managed to lose after having won five dollars that my mom gave me on the Dublin slots. Mom went back to that same machine and won over $100...which she is currently spending at the casinos here so as to get more points...

If my boyfriend is a study machine, I'm a gambling machine!

Well, maybe not...nut before eating my family bonding consisted of Everybody Loves Raymond and slot machines. Originally, I had doubled the $5 my mom gave me, but then she lost it and brought it down to $3.50...and I lost the rest...but my mom ended up winning $35 and gave me $15 so I feel accomplished and that will most likely go into my camera fund...I ended up having doubled my money on my Star Wars machine..and have yet to play on my Wizard of Oz machine...

Side bar: we were on the elevator and this guy had a rebel but I couldn't see which one and he was going through pictures of the grand canyon..and his settings were really off. The people he took pictures of were blacked out and the grand canyon was blown out..

The Gambling Game

So day ¹of my gambling of my mother's money is over and we didn't do too badly. At first, I won back what my mother had lost, but then I got obsessed with a Star Wars slot machine...it gave me the urge to watch Star Wars...so now I want a marathon! Of the original episodes of course...I first started with the dark side slots...but I was losing so I went to the good guys slots...plus darth vader's master...the with lord whose name I can't seem to remember...was scaring me. The bonus was cool because the death star would spin after you shot at the storm troopers...and when you get 3 of a character they will say a quote from the movie...but I lost 15 dollars.

My mom was trying to get me the slot I wanted which was a Wizard of Oz slot but it as full all night and we left the casino at 1am...

So I'm going to watch Fresh Ptince with my parents and go to sleep!

Enter Stage Left: The Venetian

So here I am in the food court of the beautiful Venerian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. It is amazing and our room looks incredible. I have yet to lie down on the bed and see if it is as amazing as my imagination has hyped it up to be. Only in a place like this and when on vacation is one able to have gelato for dinner: tiramisu gelato to be exact! Though it is getting late and I am tired from my long car nap, it looks as if my family wants to walk around Vegas for a bit since we are afraid of losing the wonderful parking spot right next to the elevator.

I am intent on playing a particular machine: The Wizard of Oz. My mom offered to give me ten bucks to try it out so who am I to complain?

Just woke up

So after being woolen up by my boyfriend...I decided that 9 and a half hours of sleep would do for today :-)

My current plans for the day are to go to Las Vegas with my parents...we shall be staying at the Venician! I was telling Vidya yesterday that the main part I am looking forward to is the bed...to the point where I have dreams of the bed since my mother compared it to the Four Seasons which is an incredible hotel! But until we actually leave for Vegas, my original plan was to do my long awaited laundry. However, I seem to be lazy and sluggish this morning so I may just video edit or continue my efforts at cleaning my room...

My first post

So there seems to be no easy way to create blogs from my iPhone though I am not sure why I would want to considering how much more effort this is, however I do feel like there is a lot I would like to share with the world when I don't have my computer. It is also hard for me to properly do so when considering my insanely horrible memory. I know this blog won't be perfect, but I am sure it will be the raw me...showing all my inconsistencies and actions...proving to the world that I am nothing more than human...
